Havan (Homa) in Fort Myers, Florida

A sacred fire ritual for purification and blessings: Ganapati, Gayatri, Sudarshan and more.

What it is

In a havan, offerings of ghee, grains and herbs are given to Agni with mantras. Agni carries the offerings to the deities. A havan purifies the space and the mind.

When families do it

Any auspicious day, or alongside another puja.

What happens

1. Preparing and lighting the havan kund
2. Offerings with the chosen mantras
3. Purnahuti, the final offering
4. Aarti and blessings

I bring guidance on a safe, low-smoke havan for indoor spaces.
